That's what makes us individuals Sherry. I read your input and considered everything you had to say. One thing I'd like to address is that you've stated that it will be easy to procrastinate since my new goal is a long way off. You've got a valid point there, so I'm going to have to watch that. Thank you for bringing that to light.

You are wrong though in some of the other things you stated. I DO have control over what I weigh in 6 months, and I WILL be in a slinky dress by the holidays. Just watch me! Although you say cheating isn't one of your big problems in weightloss, I KNOW for a fact that it's one of mine. Again, that's what makes us different. In knowing this is one of my downfalls, my rules have to change in how much I allow myself to cheat. I have to get tough -- there is one thing I have 100% control over, and that is what I put in my mouth. Food has been such a big part of my life for so long, that it's difficult finding other things to do with my time. I turn to it for almost every emotion; boredom, sadness, lonliness, rejection, celebration, victory, stress, and lets not forget hunger. I must learn how NOT to do this.

My flavor of the week is going back to my tried and true methods and weight loss -- doing things that I KNOW work for my body. Eventually, I may add more exercise than what I've been doing, but I know if I try to add too much right now, I'll tire of it quickly and go back to my poor eating and activity habits; this would defeat the purpose, so I'm going to start with diet and add in more activity later.

I DID like the idea of a 3-day no cheat challenge to get us all back on track. why don't we do that? When is a good time to start -- tomorrow (Thursday)?
