Subject: I listen to a lot of Country music...can't stand hard rock...rap or so many other varieties...so I'm kind of "stuck" with Country!!
In reply to: Sandy 's message, "And lastly.......I'm being kind of long winded here.......funny that you should mention Alan Jackson. I'm just getting into country music because I hate most of what's on the radio these days. And hard rock? Terrible! But country music speaks to me. About two months ago, as I was leaving my doctor's office, I too turned on the radio in the car and heard Alan Jackson singing "Remember When." I came home and "You Tubed" the song and OMG! I'm in love. This song is so wistful and full of longing.......someone even set the song to a montage of scenes from "The Notebook." I sat there and cried. Those country boys know how to sing a song and tell a story." on 3:15:40 pm, Thu, 06/07/07
