Subject: Oh Wow...Way to Go Travis!!!! Please, congratulate him for me..and Punkie too..sounds like she has been one absolutely wonderful Mom.....
Sandy, you should be proud..I would be too...Travis doing so well is also a testament to you...you as his Grandmother and how you raised Punkie!!!!
I'm in the same boat as you..I always struggled with Algebra too..but now Rick, he is a wiz at all of that...
In reply to: Sandy 's message, "More GOOD news!! On the basis of *end of year testing,* Travis will be in advanced and accelerated math when he starts school this fall. It's like an AP course but of course, you can't have AP courses in middle school. Boy, aren't we proud!!! He's got to have gotten his math ability from his mom since he sure didn't get it from me. And since it was only 3 years ago that Punkie got her BA in math, she'll certainly be able to help Travis with his homework if he needs it. Gerry's a whiz at math too since he originally went to college for Chemical Engineering (until the Vietnam war got in the way) but I really struggled with Algebra and Geometry. Oh, and not to brag or anything, but Travis got straight A's on his report card! Way to go!" on 6:43:13 am, Wed, 06/13/07
