Is anyone interested in my Thursday rant? I can't believe this.........just absolutely can't believe it. Punkie called Jim (her ex and Travis's dad) the other day to make sure that when the EOB (explanation of benefits) is sent out for Travis's hospitalization that he'll send it on to her. She had already accessed his insurance company's data base to check on the amount of the claim, etc., which, BTW, turned out to be over $9,000.00. Jim carries Travis on his insurance due to a court order, even though Punkie wanted to carry him on her insurance........you know, just to be sure! (and as of the beginning of this year, she DID add Travis to her insurance --- she doesn't trust Jim). Anyway, when she told him that Travis had been in the hospital and that she needed him to mail her the EOB when it came to him, he never asked how Travis was, what he was in the hospital for, how he was doing now.......NOTHING!! I swear, there *Must* be a special place in hell for fathers like Jim. -- Piggy's Pad

It's been almost two years since he's even seen Travis. The last time was right after Jim came home from Iraq. I hear through the grapevine that Jim's been trying to get himself sent back to Iraq and to that, I say "Good riddance!" It's not the right attitude to have but when I hear about these young men getting killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, so often I wish Jim could take their place. It's not a good way to feel but good grief, this guy just pi**es me off at every opportunity. I don't blame you for wanting to rant...I would too!!! What a jerk he must be not to even ask how Travis is....Proves even more how much better off Punkie and Travis are without them in their lives....
