Subject: How fun! I want a new phone! WAAAH! No way tho........ My poor hubby is too technologically challenged. I have to do everything here....... telephones, cell phones, DVR, DVD, TV, you name it........ Since he has finally (after 2 years) learned how to do some things with his cell, I don't want to change it. I STILL have to get his voice mail for him tho.
In reply to: Sandy 's message, "Happy dancing!! The new phones got here just before 3 p.m., which was the guaranteed time. I've got them both unwrapped and charging at present and once they're charged, I'll bring mine down here and activate it on line. Can't do that for Gerry until he gets home with his phone, since your old one is supposed to be turned off. But I'll tell ya.......these new phones can do just about everything except cook dinner. I've been leafing through all of the paperwork and the "get acquainted" books and boy, there's a lot in there. Granted, we don't use our phones for music, games or anything like that but it's going to take some getting used to. I've already called Punkie and told her that I may need to borrow my 12 year old grandson to help me figure it out. She just laughed and said he'd be more than happy to help Grandma and Grandpa with our new phones." on 1:47:30 pm, Tue, 06/26/07
