Subject: Aww, not that a dry socket is good but it could have been relieved! Vicodin! Take me away!!!!!!!!! LOL Hope he is feeling better soon. I spent years with tooth troubles and feel for anyone with this going on. Don't miss tooth aches one bit!

I guess he does not have a dry-socket afterall.....he said he is healing just fine, and probably the pain was/is due to the site being so large and that there was some food particles stuck in it....So, they flushed it out, and gave him a syringe and a prescription for an anti-bacterial mouth wash....he also said with the size of the hole, it could be up to a month before it is really healed....
Rick and I are both really surprised by this, but Dr. Rice is one of the best (if not the best) in our area, people come from all over to see him, so we trust his opinion...I just hope Rick starts getting some relief.....
