They can't find us a coil...... looks like we are going to have to replace our unit........ even tho ours is only about 8 years old. Everything is closed tomorrow..... and our repair guy said it may be Friday before they can do anything. I'm going to be shutting the computer down so it doesn't over heat.... It's almost 100 in here, and my system keeps warning me that it is dangerously hot. Be thinking of us guys! -- Piggy's Pad

I only have 2 birds left...... all the others have died out or escaped. My DH left the door open to the aviary one night.... and I lost about 30 birds. One of my foster dogs pulled up a section of the aviary wire..... he only killed one bird, but about 20 others escaped then too. When these 2 go, no more birds for a while......... not till my kitty numbers go down. Thanks for the cool thoughts. I just spent the last hour playing in the sprinklers with the dogs. Oh my..how can you survive with that kind of heat with no AC? Sure hope you are up and running with it soon...

Vicki, I don't know how you do it. I'd be living in the hose or in a cold shower and the water bill would be sky high.......not that it isn't already. I heard on the news this morning that Las Vegas hit an all time high of 128 yesterday!! I can't even begin to think of what to do with that kind of heat. But this situation with your a/c is scary. Our a/c and furnace will be 7 years old in November. We had them replaced in November 2000, the week before I had surgery. At least having all of that work done helped keep my mind off of what was coming. But good grief, I hope they can find you a unit today. I mean, enough already!!!
