Subject: We are having thunderstorms right now in Tulsa. Big loud ones! Oh well. The weather weenies are just saying we'll get rain, no snow - so far!
In reply to: Sandy 's message, "Woke up this morning to heavy rain, lightning and thunder. Strange to hear thunder this time of year. There was some sleet mixed in earlier and now we wait for the snow. Depending on which weather guy you want to believe, we're going to get 3-5 inches..............or six to ten. Either way, it's going to be one big mess. The snow's not supposed to start in ernest until tonight so we'll get to pool without any problems. Getting home might be another story. I'm jealous of my two younger sisters, who both enjoyed temps at 80 degrees yesterday but they're expecting super cell thunderstorms today, complete with large, damaging tornadoes. I can only hope that if we get the snow, Gerry's office with cancel work tomorrow, since the disabled (and the able-bodied) won't be able to make it through the snow. It would be nice to sleep in at mid-week. Here's hoping everybody has a good day!" on 7:02:24 am, Tue, 02/05/08
