Subject: UGH!!!!!!! msg.

I feel like I have a hangover! Goose got sick at work yesterday morning.... He eats breakfast at work since I have to go in so early, but yesterday he didn't want to eat... then he started vomiting. Was just bile and foam. He puked off and on all day.... over a dozen times. Even water came right back up. We got home around 2 p.m., and got some Reglan in him. He was able to sleep for a while, but it was obvious he did NOT feel good. He kept wanting in and out evening. Around midnight the diarrhea started. Got some Centrine in him then. We finally got to bed around 3:30 a.m.

By this time I'd only had about 2 hours of interrupted sleep in the last 30 hours or so. I didn't get up till 11:30 today, but man I have a headache and just feel wrung out!

Goose is resting more comfortably, and the diarrhea has stopped, but it's obvious he does not feel well. No fever and color is good, and he's holding his water now.

Hopefully whatever this is will be GONE by tonight, cuz I work all day Sunday, and possibly all day Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (7 a.m. to 6 p.m.). Danny's still on nights and needs his sleep, and Goose freaks out if I go to work without him... so I need to be able to take my Assistant!

My boss wants to go out of town to visit a friend, and she's not sure if she's leaving tomorrow or Tuesday... but I'm on all day tomorrow (Sunday), and right now I'm 7 a.m. to 1:p.m. on Monday, then 7 to 6 on Tues. and Wed., and 7 to 3 on Thursday. She called to say she may have me work all day Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday instead tho... and she'd open on Thursday.

Either way, I need my baby boy to be WELL!! I also need this NOT to be a virus that is going to spread thru my whole house!!!!!

I hope that whatever bug Goose had, he's over it by today. It's hard enough to deal with a dog that's puking, let alone one who's puking with diarrhea. Oh, boy, what a mess. I'm not sure what time it happened around here but when I first got up, a little before 5 a.m., there was some puke by the front door and also by the one cat tree. Mostly liquid and foam. I cleaned it up, went back to bed and closed the bedroom door. Way too early to get up on a weekend day. But I hope this doesn't spread to your other dogs. (NT) -- Sandy, 11:05:23 am, Sun, 02/10/08
