Subject: we got quite a bit of snow yesterday/last night then I guess it turned to rain/ice early this morning. Right now all the roads are messy but bare....retirement? Gees, hate to say it, but you are saying 55 is in seven years for you? Well I'm about six years away from that age!!!
Good luck with your posters and stuff...you should be so proud of yourself with how much do you for the shelter in your area!!!
In reply to: Ramona 's message, "Good morning! Well, I finally got my winter storm. Little snow, lots of ice. Wish it were the other way around. Now, we are flooding. There goes my basement. Still doing lots of overtime and I am getting really tired of it. I did just have my 20 year anniversary so I have a pretty good pension under my belt and can retire at age 55 if I can afford it. Thats only 7 years away !! YIPEEEE something to look forward too! Plus, I've been designing and printing posters for a huge spay/neuter clinic we are doing on March 30th. We are really moving ahead with our goal of a no-kill Lehigh Valley. I'm excited, we are so close. Only one shelter left that kills. Kitties are all doing well. Hope you all are doing well and your critters too!!" on 5:00:49 am, Wed, 02/13/08

  • We had that huge ice storm during the first part of December and some people didn't get their electricity back until Christmas. I've been hearing about all of your moisture and wondered how you were making out. So you now have 20 years in, huh? Good for you........but you just tipped us off as to how old you are........and it's not 29!!! Ramona, I'm in awe of the stuff you're doing to get your county completely no-kill and you should be so proud of yourself. That's a formidible task that you've taken on and you're doing it in style. Glad to hear, though, that you and the kitties are all fine, even if you're overworked. (NT) -- Sandy, 8:25:37 am, Thu, 02/14/08
