Subject: Oh, geez, Denise. I guess it's been a bad week for falls, huh. Gerry walks around the house in socks only but I can't any more. I *have* to wear my shoes because my left foot is so darn bad. But I haven't quite figured out a way to wear them in the shower yet.........LOL. But it sounds like your tumble was much worse than mine. Knee AND back, huh? That's really bad owies!! I really feel for you on the back issue. If your back hurts, everything hurts..........and it makes it hard to get up and do anything. On the old folks home issue, can you imagine what it would be like if we all were in the same place with our pets??? Our animals would outnumber the people! And that's probably a good thing. Nothing makes people happier than to be able to keep their pets.
