Just a quick post this morning........I'm getting to the point where I hate the running involved in Tuesdays, thanks to pool. Anyway, if you can spare a quick prayer today for my sister, I'd appreciate it. Truth is.........Susie and I haven't gotten along too well since I discovered years ago that she was taking liberties with Dad's checking account in the year before he died. But she's going into surgery at 1 p.m. today to lose her lower leg. I've talked with her several times and she was rather accepting until yesterday, when all she could do is cry. So if you could say a quick prayer for her, I'd appreciate it. -- Piggy's Pad

Oh my God, I'm sorry. I hope she is ok by now. Unfortunately, we just learned that Neil's sister's heart is so bad, they need to amputate bother her legs, then get her on the tranplant list. So sad. I can't imagine losing my leg/legs. One or both must be horrendous. And they told Carol all of this yesterday, her birthday! I don't think she is even strong enough for any of it though.
