Subject: As for healing, nope, not yet. My wrist still aches constantly so I wear the brace unless I'm in water, such as doing dishes or whatever. And I've only got one small area on my foot that's still black and blue but boy, that still hurts a lot. Played pool Tuesday night and was in agony, trying to limp around the table. And it's hard to make a "bridge" when you're shooting if your wrist aches and you can't move it certain ways. (and yes, I did lose my match!) Had a bad night last night and woke up tired and nauseous but I've got a dental appt. this afternoon. Saw my GYN on Monday and got an all-clear from him. But it's been a darn long week.
In reply to: Sandy 's message, "Denise, I went off of the Lyrica about a month ago. I just couldn't tolerate it and it was messing with the vision.......blurry and unable to focus. Now he's got me on a low dose of Gabitril, which is normally used for seizures so he's prescribing off label. He had said that if I can tolerate this med, he'll up the dosage at my next visit. I can't tell any difference in how I feel but one of the side effects of this medication, which is to treat seizures, IS seizures, so I'm being very cautious. I'm just so darn tired of hurting all the time. Taking all of this medication just doesn't seem worth it." on 6:49:48 am, Thu, 02/28/08
