I always wish there were a way to explain to them that you're doing it for their own good. My Synthroid is probably the only medication I take that I don't *mind* taking. My entire family runs on the low side of the thyroid and we're all on Synthroid. About 12 years ago, I was having some really bad symptoms and thought I was in early menopause. Turned out to be my thyroid. And once I got on the pills, boy, I sure felt better so I hope the same goes for Maggie and getting her on the right dosage for her.
