Subject: Reba has an enlarged heart and some fluid.

Awwww!!! Her labs weren't bad at all as I reported the other day but last night I didn't like the way she was breathing. Gave her some Lasix I still had from Jaz and took her to the vet today for chest x-ray and urinalysis since they forgot that the other day. Well , we came home with Lasix and a bp med that makes blood vessels relax, Bogie has been on it for a few years too. My instinct was right about the Lasix and I even chose the correct dose. She will be rechecked in 2 weeks unless she gets worse. This could be something that a couple months of meds takes care of or it could end up being a heart problem like Jaz's turned out to be. I'm getting paranoid about breathing issues, fluid in chest etc.!!! Grey last spring, one round of meds took care of it, then Jaz and now Reba! I think I'm gonna get a radon test kit to rule that possibilty out! I have to now that I thought of it cause I won't be able to relax till I know it's not or IS an issue! Would you say a prayer please???
