Subject: Hoar frost? You are just a wealth of information Sandy, I didn't know what it was called! Yes, I think Christmas came around very soon! I say that every year though! lol If Gerry will shop, I say LET HIM! After this year maybe Leon will do the shopping. yeah! : ) I'm feeling a bit pressed but now it's for baking. Doing a quick clean in the a.m. and then will bake all day!
In reply to: Sandy 's message, "Isn't that hoar frost pretty? I've been out this morning, since I had yet another doctor's appointment, and there's areas on some of the trees (mostly on the north side) that still have the ice on them. It's so darn gorgeous in the sunlight but the news broadcasts have been warning to be careful around tall buildings and towers, etc. When that ice falls, it can be deadly. As for Christmas, I'm feeling a bit more in the mood. We got the cards done on Saturday and took them to the main post office so they still went out over the weekend. The tree's now up and most of the gifts, thanks in huge part to Gerry, have been bought. I can't handle the walking involved in the shopping so we've divided and conquered. He shops..........I wrap. And it works for us. But is it my imagination or has Christmas come awfully quickly this year. I know Thanksgiving was a week early so maybe that's why I'm feeling a bit rushed." on 11:23:24 am, Mon, 12/17/07
