Subject: I've read about you playing pool for a long time now but never mentioned how much I like the game. I haven't played in years though but used to be pretty good. When I was 19-20 I actually made money playing. Men were bigger chauvanists than now and of course woman couldn't play as well as men so a friend and I challenged me, they HAD to take the bet and then we beat 'em and made pretty good money. I worked at the same bar so after my shift we played quite a bit. Man, that was a life time ago! lol You have a nice weekend too, maybe we can both get a tan on Sunday!
In reply to: Sandy 's message, "Happy Friday! Even though this has only been a 3 day week, at least here, it sure seems longer than that. This thing of getting back up at 5 a.m. is not agreeing with me, not after being able to sleep in for a week and a half. It's back to pool tomorrow as we have the individual tournaments. I'm not too happy about going and playing for the 3rd time this week but it's worth it for the money. Last year, I got bumped in the first round but came away with $30. Since I'm putting money aside for the huge hook-in in Lenexa in February, I can't afford to NOT go. My cash stash, if I don't dip into it before then, should be over $300 for Lenexa and I'd be happier if it were closer to $400. So many rugs, so much wool, too many patterns and such a great time. Anyway, I hope everybody has a great weekend!" on 6:31:59 am, Fri, 01/04/08
