Subject: Oh, yuck. You may have the grey but I'll bet it's still one horrible mess to clean up. The only time I've ever dealt with oil radiators was when we lived in the lighthouse. Thankfully, the boiler in the basement was rather new and we never had any problems with it. But when we first got to Maine, we had electric baseboard heat and I HATED that. We were always cold.
In reply to: Ramona 's message, "It's oil radiator baseboard heater. When the furnace malfunctions it can send a poof of soot which will permeate every crack, space and crevice in your whole house. It's a mess! But mine was very small and minor, thank GOD!! So i have gray instead of black and it doesn't really look that horrible." on 2:29:12 pm, Mon, 01/07/08
