Please say a prayer for Shadow. She is a diabetic 8 year old german shep./mix in Georgia that was surrendered by the owners cause they couldn't afford he insulin and supplies. This place she is in gasses dogs and they can gas her anytime, don't have to wait 5 days like in other cases. Rescue got involved and got her insulin but they can't find her a foster home. Sometimes I wish I wasn't an animal lover cause this kind of story tears me up and at most all I can do is spread the word, give money and pray! -- Piggy's Pad

Many many prayers coming for Shadow and Sweetie.....I just can't imagine giving up my two, especially to a place where they could be PTS almost immediately....I sure hope they can find them both homes.....I'm thinking though, odds are against them aren't they? Many prayers coming for Shadow and Sweetie. I'm with you on this one, Denise. When we make our runs to Petsmart to get kitty litter, we always visit the cat adoption center (that's where Biscuit and Travis' Topper came from) and it never ceases to piss me off that so many of the tags on the cage doors state that the cat was surrendered because the owners were moving or just didn't want the animal any longer. I can't understand why we live in a society where animals are so "disposable." I do hope there's someone out there who will give Shadow and Sweetie a chance but at their ages and with their medical conditions, I kinda doubt it..........and that's sad.
