Subject: Is anybody as tired of the cold as I am? Yesterday, I guess, wasn't too bad since we finally broke freezing. At least the sun was out, making for a beautiful sunset. But it's zero degrees this morning and I keep thinking of the gas bill.............yeouch!! We took Cricket to the vet yesterday for a depo shot (4 weeks minus 2 days) and he's doing so well. Chicory is also doing great. His insulin was decreased and he's gaining weight, looking and walking so much better. Our vet feels that Chicory *might* just be able to be manageable by diet alone, since his glucose is staying very low during the day. Keeping our fingers crossed for a good outcome for him. Have a good Thursday, everybody, and stay warm.
