Is anybody as tired of the cold as I am? Yesterday, I guess, wasn't too bad since we finally broke freezing. At least the sun was out, making for a beautiful sunset. But it's zero degrees this morning and I keep thinking of the gas bill.............yeouch!! We took Cricket to the vet yesterday for a depo shot (4 weeks minus 2 days) and he's doing so well. Chicory is also doing great. His insulin was decreased and he's gaining weight, looking and walking so much better. Our vet feels that Chicory *might* just be able to be manageable by diet alone, since his glucose is staying very low during the day. Keeping our fingers crossed for a good outcome for him. Glad the cats are doing well. I KNOW they are happy to be inside! George is my one that has to get close to the door when I let the cats out. He's noticed the cold, stands back with a disgusted look on his face and shakes his paws! Keep asking him if this is the time of year he really would like to escape! Yep..sure wish it was warmer...but have to say, I've been so busy these past couple of weeks (and one more super busy week coming up for sure) that I've hardly noticed the temps!!!
