The people that live behind my sister have 2 boxers, one is just a pup. They have been leaving them tied out in this weather!!!!!! IDIOTS! The pup isn't growing, has water but no food or shelter so laying in the cold I bet he just shivers all those needed calories away trying to stay warm. I couldn't take it anymore, called the Sheriff on Friday. My sister saw the dogs out this morning but then the guy took them back in so we are just watching and I will call the Sheriff again if need be. Can people not see that some dogs (like Micah with her long hair and oversized feet) are made for the cold but Boxers are obviously not???? -- Piggy's Pad

Leon was gone all weekend, is busy today after being gone and also getting ready for foot surgery on Thursday. First of all, prayers for Leon and his foot surgery. What kind of surgery is he having done? And now, for the dogs. I like the name Zeke too - - - - conjures up the image of a strong, big dog. I can only pray that you let Zeke out to be with Micah and they start bouncing around, playing because they're both so happy to have company!! That would be perfect! As for your sister's neighbors, they're just plain dumb, idiotic, and they're abusing these dogs, since they have no way to keep warm when it's this cold. I'm glad you called the sheriff to help these dogs, and especially the puppy, get some food and some warmth. Good for you, Denise. He is having a bunion removed. He had the other foot done a few years ago but it was more complicated cause they had to straighten bones and fuse things together. He was laid up for quite awhile but this one he will come home in a boot and be able to do more and shorted recovery time. I WILL call the Sheriff, I will be a total pain in the butt!!!
