Subject: we found the original receipt for it...25 years ago Bud (the previous owner) paid a little over $2,400 for it, so it was definitely an expensive one.....but I have a feeling he didn't get what he paid for....when we first moved in we couldn't get one person to come and look it over to see if it needed cleaned or anything...as soon as I named what kind it was, they said "no thank you" and that was it!!
another reason we are glad to get rid of it..always felt like it was a time-bomb in our basement...waitiang for it to up and die and then not being able to get anyone to come and look at it!!! So, believe me, even though I hate dishing out the money, it sure is a relief knowing it's going to be out of there!!

mostly what the problem is is that it is 25 years old...it's also a brand (it came with the house) that no one in our area services or even wants to have anything to do with....we think when the previous owner bought it it was touted as the "next best furnance ever....." and it never lived up to it's hype....our plumber only knew of one other one put in about the same time as this one, and that guy took it back out within a year...hated it because it was noisey and just didn't do all that was promised...." on 10:05:04 am, Mon, 12/03/07
