We're still lucky...........we still have power. According to the news, there's over 15,000 in my county alone that are without power. It's so darn beautiful outside since everything's encased in this coating of ice that just sparkles, even though it's cloudy out. We've got some melting going on today, and yes, Kate, we did have pool last night. The road's are clear and we only got a dusting of snow last night as the last of the storm moved through. I feel for my neighbors, though, since they've been without power since yesterday morning. This is the couple we're so fond of and they're in their 70's but they're coping well. They have several adult kids in town so they could go elsewhere but have chosen to stay home. I'm just knocking on wood that as the ice starts to melt, it won't take down more power lines and tree branches. Seeing the tree damage is so sad since some of these trees aren't going to survive this. I hope everyone's having a good Hump Day! -- Piggy's Pad

Oh thank heavens you haven't lost power Sandy.....I've seen some of the pictures of the trees on the news....like you said, so sad because they just can't hold up to the weight of the ice....
