What a beautiful morning!! We had cloudy skies yesterday and a bit of rain but it sure cleaned the air. When I walked out for the paper this morning, the stars were so clear and looked close enough to touch. We never got out of the 60's yesterday and it's a gorgeous 50 right now. I've got the windows open and the whole house fan on......and the kitties are going nuts. Racing and running! We've missed the sound of semi's thundering through the house and Biscuit sure has everybody moving, even Cinnamon. It was so cool when we went to bed last night that we actually flirted with the thought of turning on the furnace for a while. But I refuse to turn the furnace on during the same 24 hour period that we've had the a/c running. -- Piggy's Pad

I think the weather guy has said that we're supposed to reach the upper 70's for today and maybe 80+ tomorrow but on Thursday, another cold front will move through and our low will go down to the 40's. Hey guys.... sorry...... Have another HUGE 2-day adoption fair going on this weekend, and I am helping with the coordination and trying to get enough volunteers to help. We're still hot........ It was 110 today, with a heat index of 117. I am SO TIRED OF THE HEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
