Subject: Darn! I still think this is a food related problem for some males. All the male cats I had before the ones I have now had this problem and Bubs was prone too, infection after infection but when I changed foods not one has had an infection in 10 years. One of mine had that surgery before it was a common surgery. After Rogers ordeal I am scared for Ben since Rogers really didn't stop the problem completely. My cat never had an infection again so I think it's back to the food issue. Let us know what you find out. How are alll the others?
In reply to: Ramona 's message, "I think Ben is blocked again. I had an appointment for him tonight anyway because I could tell he had an infection, but now he seems blocked. Got little pee drops all over the house which makes me think he isn't completely blocked yet, but he is acting very lethargic and in pain. So, I got an hour before the vet opens. He may end up with that surgery now. WHat a great birthday present! WIsh us luck!!" on 3:09:01 am, Tue, 11/06/07

  • Oh, geez, Ramona, you don't need this. I hope it turns out to be something more simple but I know you're a good cat mom and you know each and every one of your cats and their behavior. So I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you and for Ben that he's okay. Keep us updated on what the vet says. (NT) -- Sandy, 5:28:18 am, Tue, 11/06/07
