Dad has shown some slight improvement. He was removed from the ventilator today and is breathing on his own, altho with some difficulty. Mom has elected to just do supportive care..... IF he hangs on and makes it out of the hospital, he will more than likely be put in a nursing home. It's really just a matter of time.... He has stage 4 lymphoma, blood-sugar values fluxuating to over 600, advanced kidney failure and not strong enough for dialysis, needs open-heart surgery and not strong enough for that either. It's just a matter of time....... He's a fighter tho, so you never know. Thanks for all the prayers, everyone. -- Piggy's Pad
