Subject: isn't this weather something?? That is so cool that you and Gerry could sit outside and eat ice cream in November!!
I really didn't do much today...got caught up on some wash, got a short walk in and then had to fill in at a WW meeting....
In reply to: Sandy 's message, "Not much going on around here. We're having a very restful holiday and trying to keep it calm and quiet. Gerry's cleaning up some of the filing and I've just been doing some cleaning. We went out yesterday for a while since our Cold Stone Cremery was giving away a dish of ice cream to all veterans. We'd never been there before and it was a really nice shop with great ice cream choices. But what was strange? Here it was........November 11th.......and we were able to sit outside and have our ice cream........no sweaters, no jackets, nothing. Yesterday was a very warm and humid 76 degrees. We ended up doing a bit of shopping on the way home, looking for a lettuce keeper, at BB&B, K Mart and Target. Neither of us can remember a time when we've been able to shop in mid-November at 6 p.m. at night with no coat or jacket. Today's a bit cooler in the upper 50's and cloudy but I've still got windows open. I hope everyone's having a decent day." on 1:18:51 pm, Mon, 11/12/07
