LOL Kate, I've wanted to get the ones all ready to go but seems I keep finding cards I like after Christmas every year and I can't pass up a good deal so I have lots of cards that I HAVE to fill out myself. I'm not even buying any this year, using up all the ones I have. (unless I see something really cute and cheap) haha! Jazzpurr is doing better, still has several days of meds but he seems to feel ok now. Hope you all have a nice weekend! -- Piggy's Pad

Looks like no one made it here yesterday!!
We were busy from the minute I got home from work last night until it was time to go to bed (and even then, Rick turned in early..and off I went to the grocery store at 10:00!!!)
I used to see cards I liked after Christmas or even after I bought mine for the year....now I just quit looking!! **grin**

Your tree is up and decorated!!!???? Already!!!???? I'd go nuts!!! I don't want to be picking ornaments up off the floor any longer than necessary. I hope I can get Gerry to wait a couple of weeks yet but he's putting our outside lights up now. We've got absolutely perfect weather today and we'll be in the 60's until Wednesday, when the bottom falls out. Thanks, Denise, for the congrats. Sorry for not posting yesterday...........it's been busy, busy around here. Thursday was Gerry's birthday but he didn't want a dinner or anything like that so we just did our usual Thursday grocery shopping, stopping for fast food on the way home. By Friday, I was just plain tired. My ankle has been acting up again and when I favor my ankle, my lower back lets me know about it. So, other than some cleaning and laundry, I was just trying to rest. Today, we went to one of our Express Care Clinics and got our flu shots taken care of.........no mess, no fuss, no pain. And they bill our insurance company, so I didn't even have to write a check. Then we were off for cat food at The Cat Association. We've had to put the kids back on Science Diet for the time being. Since I got tired of waiting, we got on line last night and checked several places, finally ordering from Pet Food Direct. Even with the shipping, the cost is about the same as driving out to the country and buying it at the Doggie Day Care place. And you can't beat having it delivered to your door. Denise, I'm glad to hear that Jazzpurr is doing okay. I hope the medications will take care of whatever is going on there. And I'm with you on the cards, although I usually don't have very many left over from year to year. But I write a family-type letter and then hand sign each card, adding a personal note if necessary. Yeah, it really makes my hands hurt but what can you do? It's only once per year and being retired military, very often, we only hear from a lot of people at Christmas. Your tree is up????????? Acccckkkhhh!!! Oh Kate, you are more motivated and patient than I ! I will try to get Leon to put up the outdoors lights next weekend before the weather turns. Sandy, I'm glad you ordered the Innova. I will check where I get mine (I order from so many places I can't keep track) and get it for 26.00 a bag. If you check amazon.com you can compare a lot of places and prices too. We worked outside today, it was kind of cold! I had my ears covered and that's something I don't normally do. Almost all the leaves got picked up and burned.
