Subject: We go absolutely NUTS on lights. We have a 7 1/2 foot pre-lighted tree but to that, we add about another 1,000 lights. Gerry wraps them in and out on each, individual branch. I swear, when we turn the tree on, you can almost stand outside and watch our electric meter spin!!! But to Gerry's credit, our tree is always beautiful.
In reply to: Sandy 's message, "You're so far ahead of me on the tree issue. I don't even want ours up for a couple of weeks yet. I'm sure Biscuit will think that we've provided him with new playground equipment when he sees the tree..........smile! As for a theme, I don't know that we have one, unless it's cats. Oh, sure, we've got a lot of different ornaments but the majority of them are cats. I still have one very special engraved one that I put on the tree each year for (Rainbow) Meggie but after searching high and low, and even contacting the company that originally made this ornament, I can't find one that I like to memorialize Squeegee and Holly. So I keep looking. But your white and blue theme sounds pretty." on 11:16:12 am, Mon, 11/19/07
