Subject: Yes she is a smart dog..and she's got me and Rick wrapped right around her little/big paw!!! **grin**
Thankfully tonight she seems back to normal, even eating all by herself again....I think you are right Sandy, she must have had a stomach bug....sure am glad she is doing better..it's been a long few days watching her!!
In reply to: Sandy 's message, "Josie is one smart dog, isn't she? Maybe she just had a 24-48 hour bug, just like we people get, and now, even though she's feeling a bit better, she's decided that she likes having you and Rick "fawn" over her. The extra attention is nice, especially if we're not feeling 100% like ourselves. I think you're on the right track. Let her rest and get back to normal and if you have to hand feed her for another day or so, well, just take it one day at a time. I would think, though, that eventually she's going to figure out that she's got to eat out of her bowl or go hungry. But since you're her parents, I'm sure you'll figure out what you want to do. I'm just grinning.......smart dog, that Josie! And I hope she's doing much better today." on 6:53:21 am, Fri, 07/13/07
