Need prayers for my FIL. He was rushed to the hospital this morning vomiting and passing black tar.... which means blood. He had to receive a blood transfusion. He's in a room and resting. They'll run more tests tomorrow... They are thinking he may have a bleeding ulcer. I feel SO bad for Danny. Losing his job and now this. He was pretty shaky this morning from worry, but is better tonight now that dad is doing better. Please keep our family in your thoughts!! -- Piggy's Pad

Vicki, in your world, it never rains but it pours. Believe me, you and Danny were/are already in my prayers and I'll be sure and add your father-in-law. Although a bleeding ulcer isn't any fun, I hope it's as simple as that and not something worse. But the prayers are coming your way. Please let us know what the doctor says. I was really thinking about you yesterday. Not only did we go to Petsmart Friday night and buy cat litter (we really should own stock in this company.......LOL) and, of course, we visited the adoption room, even though we both know --- NO more --- but we went to the cat show yesterday. But we never got to see the kitties. The guy from Siloam Springs, Arkansas was outside the hall and we stopped there first. We bought a lovely piece of cat furniture, which he claimed we'd never be able to get into the car. Well, Gerry measured carefully and with a bit of pulling and tugging, we got it in the backseat. We had to use Gerry's furniture dolly to get it into the house but we managed. And the cats LOVE it. It's about 5 feet tall with 3 different platforms and the top platform has a hole in it down to level 2. The minutes we got it into the living room, the cats sniffed it and went crazy. It's been so much fun to watch them wrestle over it, scratch it and play on it. But as I watched them, I was thinking about your adoption fair this weekend.
