Subject: Not so debonair moment for Bob the Balinese

In a not too debonair moment earlier this week, I saw Bob trying to leap from the ground to the second level cat bad on the new cat tree. He did not jump quite high enough but he was able to get his front legs over the side. Alas, he slipped and fell on his butt. He then looked at me a la Maxwell Smart - I meant to do that.

It's been almost four years since Squeegee died and we're coming up, in February, for four years for Holly. I still miss them tremendously and that's why we test any kind of cat furniture we buy. We hit the cat trees with our palm, HARD, and if they tip in any way, they don't come home with us. But then again, Holly was pushed by Cinnamon from a too-small perch.
