Subject: Checking in from work.........

I still have insomnia, despite coming home exhausted yesterday! Things are going well here. My boss is taking advantage of my office experience to help her with the computer and revamping some forms.

Goose came with me yesterday, and today I have Gilly and Goose. My boss is out running errands and getting keys made for me. Tomorrow I work solo from 7 to noon, as we close early on Saturdays.

Tonight I have a Humane Society Volunteer Appreciate dinner to go to, so will be home late.

All the dogs are resting right now, so it's quiet for a bit. Will get busy again soon tho!

This week I've been training. She had said she couldn't afford to start paying me till October....... but I've been going in and learning the ropes and helping out a few hours a day this week. I think she's happy with what I've been doing tho, cuz she's going to start paying me as of tomorrow! I've revamped some forms for her, fixed her brochure/flyer, and taking care of the dogs is a no brainer... LOL (NT) -- V~, 9:20:37 pm, Fri, 09/28/07
Same here. I didn't think you were starting until next week but this explains it. But it sounds to me like you've already gone in and made the job your own. Even the extra stuff, like revamping her flyer and forms, makes you a good employee.
