Subject: The dogs (esp. Harley) had us ROFL last night!

As stated below, my friend in San Diego paid for a rental for us to come visit with the dogs for another beach day.

We picked up the rental van last night. Bree and Harley went out with me to get things situated. Danny brought out a comforter to put over the back seat, plus a medium pillow bed to make the seat more comfy.

Harley literally grabbed the bed out of Danny's hands and drug it up onto the seat and laid down on it. That wasn't good enough. He got down and grabbed the comforter in his mouth and tried to pull it onto the seat, but Bree was sitting on one edge so he couldn't get it to move. So he then grabbed the pillow bed and pulled it down into the floor on top of the comforter and laid down on that. He was all happy then.

We got him to move and I got the comforter over the seat, got the lil bed and another huge pillow bed down in the floorboard. (We folded down the middle seats.) Harley gets back on the seat, followed by Bree, Sadie, Rissa and Piggy. Everyone is crowding on the back seat REFUSING to move. NOBODY would come out. Goose was in his crate in the house howling up a storm. We ended up driving the dogs around the block to pacify them. When we got home, Bree and Harley both looked at us like, "Is that IT?!?!" Took a lot of coaxing and tugging to get the dang dogs out and back into the house. Such Goobers! We were laughing so hard tho! Especially at Harley arranging the beds and blankies to his liking! :P

I really wish we could take Harley with us. He is not good with strange dogs tho. :-/
