Happy Monday! After having a very warm and humid day yesterday, the cold front came through this morning at 3 a.m. with lots of rain, thunder and lightning. And boy, did it cool off!! We're at 56 now and the sun's coming out for a beautiful fall day. I was beginning to wonder if the fall temps would ever arrive, since it's been so warm lately. Travis has his last football game this evening and since Gerry has a meeting at the Legion, I'm having Punkie pick me up so I can go with them. I told her that I'd treat them to dinner after the game. His game starts at 5:30 and the weather should be perfect for football......cool and clear. Now you just have to find a way to stay away from the Verizon store............or the area of Walmart that has the cell phones. If you don't look, you can't buy. And just think of the really neat ones they'll come out with by the time you're ready for your New Every Two. As for the cooler weather, I think you'll probably get it tomorrow. I looked at our weather too, looks like you are right the cooler temps should be arriving either tomorrow or Wednesday....Thank heavens..I do hate to complain, but it's been just way too warm and humid.....

We hit 90's today........ at least we are cooling off at night again tho. For a while there it didn't drop below 85 at night. Tonight we are hitting 60. Now to get our days down to 70! LOL (NT) -- V~, 10:24:52 pm, Mon, 10/08/07
