Subject: Crappy crappy week....... msg.

Danny is having major issues at work.... was told by his boss he is one step away from being fired. The latest thing to get his boss so riled was he left a bag of snacks in the work truck after driving 11 hours that day. Went to work early the next morning to get his stuff, and was told to go home and got written up for it!

I've also got another bad sinus infection and ear infection, and am on heavy-duty antibiotics (they think the last round didn't kill it off, so came back with a vengeance). I am feverish and weak and my head is pounding and I feel like crap!

I'm also on pins and needles cuz we both feel it's just a matter of time before Danny is canned..... He and his boss don't get along, so his boss is finding any excuse to justify firing him.

I have to go to big Anniversary Dinner tonight for Danny's parents..... the entire dysfunctional family will be there (several members don't get along at all). I'm really looking forward to it...... NOT! They are all hard to take even when I feel good.... but add feeling crappy and being anxious about the work/money situation..... and OH JOY FUNSVILLE TIME... NOT. Danny's been applying for work elsewhere, as have I, but no bites yet.

Will try to play catch up later....... have to get ready for this fabulous night of Soap Opera Dining! *rolling eyes*

Hope you are feeling better, sinus infections can be so draining..and sounds like your party tonight will be a draining one all by itself!! Hope it goes better than you are expecting....

Good Lord, Vicki. You've got a lot going on too and there are times when I think that if you didn't have *bad* luck, you wouldn't have any luck at all. I'm praying Danny can find another job before his boss decides to fire him but to me, at least, it doesn't sound like his boss can justify writing him up and firing him over a bag of snacks left in the truck. What a jerk!! Also, the way you're feeling, I can see where the anniversary dinner is going to be about as much fun as a heart attack. I really hope it went better than expected. I know with my family, I try to keep expectations low and then they either live "down" to those expectations or, on those really rare occasions, they surprise me. Hope you're feeling better today! Uh oh, make sure Danny keeps a diary of everything going on. It may help for unemployment time. Just make sure he gets fired and doesn't quit, so he can collect. At least untiil he gets a better job. Good luck to him! And sorry you feel so crappy again. I wonder if you are allergic to wheat. People who are allergic to that do get sick all the time because wheat ends up being in almost everything we eat in one form or another. Can create bad headaches too. Just a thought.
