She's doing okay. The chemo knocked her for a loop and she's still taking methadone occasionally for pain. She's also got a problem with numbness in her feet and fingers but she went back to work last week part-time and will be back on full time (12 hour shifts) this week. I need to call her and leave a message because when she's working, that's all she does. She goes in to the hospital at 6:30 a.m. and doesn't get out until about 7:30 or so, which leaves her just enough time to eat something and then go to bed before she has to get up and start it all over again. I'm not sure why the hospitals went with these 12 hour shifts. I used to work the old 7-3:30 or 3-11:30 p.m. and enjoyed it. But all in all, she's doing great. I can't wait to see how much her hair has grown out. -- Piggy's Pad

I haven't seen her for about 3 weeks and the last time, her hair was about 1/2 inch long and coming back in completely gray/white.
