Subject: Don't feel bad about saying no, sometimes one cannot go, although in your heart you may have wanted to do so.
In reply to: Ramona 's message, "I got asked to go to Louisianna again for this newest hurricane. I feel rotten saying no, but I just don't think I can manage it right now. Both emotionally and financially. GOt my brochures done, I made several so they had a choice. And I am very proud of them if I must say so myself. I love this new program I got, I had such fun doing this. And they look so professional! THis program was well worth the money. Nan is doing good after her surgery. Did I tell you they only did part of it? That means she will have another one to go through when she gets that bone stretcher taken off. Claudia is ok too. Very sad, but coping. She doesn't want any more cats right now. The 2 she has left are enough. Ben seems to be doing ok too and it look like he isn't going to have another blockage. He is passed the 2 week critical re-block point so we are hopeful. I need to get some vacuuming done so off I go! Have a great day!!" on 8:24:32 am, Sun, 08/19/07

  • Ramona, don't ever, ever feel guilty. You've gone before and there's not many of us who could invest the emotional and financial "where-with-all" to do it again and again and again. Thanks be to God and Mother Nature that Dean didn't come anywhere near the U.S. I'm happy for you that your brochures turned out so well and you're having fun with the new program. I feel for Nan, though. I mean, I'm glad she's doing well but to have to do this in two separate procedures must be wearing on her. Also glad to hear that Claudia is doing okay. She may always feel sadness when she thinks of FiFi but the pain will fade with time. And good for Ben that he's doing okay and hasn't blocked up again. (NT) -- Sandy, 7:26:46 am, Tue, 08/21/07
