Happy Hump Day!! I'm really tired today.........seems a little white kitty wanted to play with my bare toes last night while I was trying desperately to sleep. We had our pool sign-up party last night and since we've added some new players and dropped one problem child, I think we're going to have a good season. Yep, it's that time of year. Pool starts up next Tuesday. But GOOD NEWS for a change. We left all of the kitties roaming the house when we left yesterday afternoon (somewhat against my better judgment) and when we got home about 9:30, there were NO messes anywhere. Not only that, the baby's feet, legs and tail were CLEAN! Yahoo!!! We even left him loose when we went to bed but that was part of the problem. I think the cats slept the entire time we were gone so they were ready to rumble when we got home. -- Piggy's Pad

And we just wanted to go to bed. Ahhhh, but their needs come first so everybody got fed...........separate dishes, which is so much fun..........scooping litter boxes for the umteenth time and then medication. Emme and Biscuit weren't real happy about that but at least now Biscuit has finished his Centrine and also the Spirogen and only has a few more doses of his Amoxicillin. He's really doing pretty well and now we're starting to add some SD Kitten to his SD ID so he doesn't have to go through another abrupt diet change. Of course, all of the adults want the kitten food. I woke up about 3 to go to the bathroom and made sure that Biscuit used the litter box at the same time, cleaned that up and headed back to bed. He purred and slept by my head. All in all, a very GOOD night, even if it was way too short. Oh, and Emme and Cinnamon have now realized that they have a new playmate. Joey is now the only holdout. I was going to call you this afternoon, but when Rick left for work I sat down on the couch for a "minute" and the next thing I know I woke up and it was almost two hours later!! I haven't napped like that in ages...I can't believe I did it!! Hey, that's okay, Kate. With "Little One" here, my schedule is so far out of whack, half the time I don't know if I'm coming or going. I tried to lay down for a while yesterday morning and the dratted phone kept ringing (I used to think that once we got rid of one phone, things would calm down........NOT! Now my cell rings constantly!!) So I finally gave up and spent yesterday afternoon playing catch-up. I still have some left over laundry to get done and I so want to try for a quick nap today. And I really do have to run. My girlfriend's bridal shower is tomorrow night and I'm a co-hostess for that. We finally got a chance to go out and shop for both the shower gift and the wedding gift last night. I've got wrapping to do, bills to pay, laundry to do and my eyes just burn. But things are just so much better around here, I can hardly believe it. NOW we're really having fun with Biscuit. And miracles of miracles, even Joey let down her guard long enough last night to play with him. I may hurt, I may be tired and worn out and I may have a lot to do but all in all, life is GOOD. Good for you, Vicki. I know that you've been dealing with the lack of sleep issue too so I'm glad Sable is going longer between feedings and letting you get some rest. But believe me, I would have switched with you last week. I'd much rather bottle feed a tiny kitten, even every two hours, than clean up that much massive diarrhea from all over everything. Oh, how blessed we are that we took out the carpet and went with wood. If we still had the carpet, I'd have to call in heavy duty carpet cleaners now. But lack of sleep is still lack of sleep.........and when you're tired, you just can't deal with the rest of the crap involved in life. So I'm glad you're getting some shut-eye.
