Subject: Although Gerry fell asleep very quickly last night, Joey kept me awake for a long time. She's been very aloof for the past several days so she picked last night to decide she needed lots of extra attention. I no more than got settled in bed and she climbed up my body, standing on my chest to get my T-shirt in her mouth. She nursed for the longest time and then moved down to lay on my stomach and go to sleep. Great for her but she kept me awake until after midnight. She's very put out by Biscuit, since all he wants to do is play and she wants to be left alone. She still hisses and growls at all of the other cats, which I don't really understand since she used to love Snowy and Cricket when we first brought her home. But her nose was completely put out of joint when we got Emme.........and now Biscuit. I wish she's learn to cope.
In reply to: Sandy 's message, "Happy Hump Day!! As usual, since it's Wednesday, I'm tired. We got home really early from pool last night (about 10:10) but we only took 2 matches out of 5. Yep, I played and I won my match. But it was really hot in Terry's last night and I was dripping sweat from my face by the time I dusted off my opponent. Not much going on for the rest of the week. I think I'm going to keep the car on Friday and go for a haircut, since I'm getting fuzzy. And the big CFA cat show is this weekend. No, no more cats for us but we would like to try and stop by to see if we can find another cat tree like the one we bought several years ago. Our tree isn't very tall (about 4 1/2 feet) but it's got a very sturdy, heavy base and won't tip over, which is the #1 criteria for us. The guy that we buy from is from Siloam Springs, Arkansas and he's at all of the cat shows. I hope everybody has a good and cool day." on 7:15:55 am, Wed, 09/12/07
