Some senior foods are softer and easier to chew and for that reason it might help some but I don't feed senior cause they usually lower the protein. Mine really like Natural Balance (ultra or premium, don't remember exactly what it's called) and Royal Canin Special used to be a favorite but when they added corn back I quit feeding it.
