Kate, I hope you got my voice mail. I'm so sorry I missed your call but like I said, I had just gotten off the phone with the vet..........so I started vacuuming and never heard my phone ring. Either way, it was nice playing phone tag with you. I think I need to get a wrist strap or something so I can hang my phone from one of my necklaces and then I'll hear it ring. This phone doesn't ring quite as loud as my old one and I don't always hear it. Anyway, I'm sorry. -- Piggy's Pad

Oh, we got more rain last night and today, which we needed badly, but I had opened the windows when I got home from dropping Cricket off and just about the time I got ready to close the house up and turn the a/c back on, our power went out. It was about 80 in the house but the humidity was at 74% and the dew point was over 70. With no a/c, no moving air, no fans, no nothing, it was just plain miserable. The electrical company got our power back up about 2 hours later but now, Cinnamon is sick. He can't handle the heat and especially, the humidity, so while we were eating dinner, he went to the basement and puked all over everything!!! And I DO mean all over. I got your voice mail..and CAN'T believe I missed you call....
I had called you on my way home from work, and left my voice mail. When I pulled into the driveway I saw where the paper had been delivered..so I stopped the car at the end of the driveway and ran across the road to grab the paper and see if the mail was there....I then get back in the car and pull into the garage..I'm just opening the door and my phone makes it's "you've got voice mail" noise...!!
