Nah, y'ain't askin' too many questions. I'm pleased, honestly, to see someone take an interest.

It was a long, drawn-out, worlds-wide war that they fought. The Originals formed the Madren, an elite group of Of the Line (directly descended from Originals) critters and some local heroes, to organize the raw population into unofficial packs to fight. The Kana was formed when the Madreni were stretched too thin - the Kana means "the Mob", roughly, and is basically a leaderless group of commoners who fought in the war as a unit. (Modern Lavana still knows of the Kana, though those who claim to be members stay rather out of the way of things. And the Madren is still going strong in modern-day.)

The war was fought on many points. It was to Shakala, the ice planet of the Tri-System, where Equitor fled when he realized he was losing too much ground on Lavana. A group of Originals and Madreni and heroes (who had just risen out of the woodwork, so to speak, with battle prowess) traveled by Portal to Shakala as well, and confronted him and his elite guard. The ensuing battle killed almost everyone on both sides - this is where quite a few Originals of the old species died. (Yes, Redwood was in this battle. =D)

But the end score, once all was said in done, was that Equitor and his guard were all slain, and a tiny handful of Lavanians still drew breath. News traveled quickly, and the next few years were spent hunting down and eradicating the rest of Equitor's army. All bipedal races became scorned and hated, except for Nila, who'd fought with the Lavanians in the war and were actually rather key players oftentimes. (Olashi, another main bipedal race on modern-day Lavana, did not exist at the time.)

I'm honestly not sure who struck the killing blow against Equitor himself. I'd have to review the battle again. =D
