Subject: I haven't seen solid information anywhere.

I've been assuming that Yimask, as a gold, is about the size of a small pony (her shoulder coming up to a bit higher than Yima's stomach, and Yima is a pretty tall woman); the main reason Yima keeps reaching down to thump her on the head is because Yimask spends a lot of time lying down. I'd been imagining the other colors to be proceeding downwards from there, but admittedly I'd also been imagining (with neither a basis or info to contradict me) that while wher colors were different sizes, they weren't as dramatically different as dragons were. But I don't have that much evidence to back any of that up. I'd forgotten that Kisk becomes "shoulder-high", but remember that Kindan is 13 years old, and we don't know how tall he is, either. Where'd you get the info that today's queen wher would be the equivalent of Faranth? *interested* Was it in Dragonsblood? I must have missed it. And in All the Weyrs of Pern, when AIVAS shows them pictures of the first dragons, including Faranth, and does size comparisions, someone comments that the bronzes and golds are "even smaller than Ruth".

So I think it comes back around to there being no conclusive size information yet; we have a general idea, but unless someone's found a statement by Anne or Todd that I haven't heard about, the exact sizes vary depending on how each person imagines how big Kindan, Faranth, and other sources of comparision are.
