There, there. I have a part German Shepard/black lab/yellow lab/border collie mix, pure German Shepard, and two mini poodle/rat terrier mixes. The German Shepard's a big softy in his old age and couldn't run for a sheep if he tried because of his arthritis and the two little ones would probably end up being killed by the sheep. O.O The four-way-mix, however is muscle-bound and young, so it's a good thing we live out in the middle of nowhere, despite the fact that it seems like the worst he could do is lick you to death. We've never really had any problems with animal control out where I live. Of course, this might be due to the fact that everyone out here raises cattle, and no dog wants to get in the way of an angry bull's horns. I've seen them running.

With any dog, you can never tell what might set them off. A smell, sound, or unusual touch could set them biting. It's always sad when you have to put them down because of it, but thankfully we've never been in one of those circumstances. *Pats El comfortingly* There, there. It will be quite all right.
