Uh oh..." Liam breathed in reply to Tex's icecream-eating remark. Glancing towards the parlour, he watched in silence as several as several burly guys walked out of the enterance doors, waving and nodding in acknowledgement as they went. Several barbie-doll-imitations followed after the boys like little over-pleasing puppy dogs, seductive smiles gracing their cherry-red lips as they shyly waved at Liam, pretending not to see the small blonde who stood at his side.. As a towering muscle-packed guy with thick blonde hair came charging at Liam's middle, he reeled -- almost losing his sturdily footed balance. But he managed to stay upright, and gave the guy -- who appeared to be a fellow football player of his -- a quick but light shove just as another boy with reddish hair hurled himself at Liam, tackling him in one of those friend-to-friend guy hugs. Hands clapped heavily 'gainst Liam's back and shoulders as praising remarks filtered themselves through Liam's ear-drums. "Nice work Buddy, that game last night... Wow, you were grade-A, Liam," shot David Likner, a blonde-haired guy who fit the titled 'typical jock' perfectly. Liam just nodded to him with a bit of a smile 'cross his lips. Yeah, he hated the lime-light... and he couldn't believe that his team-mates didn't see that now, after the 4 years they'd all been on the same damned football team together. Liam's eyes shifted 'way from the 5 or so guys and, and the all of 7 girls that accompanied them after he had said his hellos and all. Shaking his head slightly, he leaned his mouth down close to Tex's ear and whispered, "This is them... Ready to take back that melodramatic comment 'bout me that you made earlier?"
