"WFPG-AM OFFERING ITS LISTENERS EDGY COMEDY

Most people don't turn on WFPG-AM 1450 for a laugh. But that will change at midnight tonight when the station changes its format and affiliates with the new Comedy World Network.

Fans of "Hurley in the Morning" need not panic. Your favorite host is staying exactly where he is. In fact, morning host Harry Hurley is adding a half hour to his show and will be heard weekdays from 5 to 10 a.m.

But it's fare-thee-well to "Dr. Laura" Schlessinger, Bruce Williams,..."

You know what?-You're a JERK. Look at the date on that clip from THE PRESS. YEP-it is EXACTLY 2 years ago this day. ARE you trying to say that because that former WFPG employee's name shows up in that clip that I am "obsessed"???

FYI-I was on a fact-finding mission, tripping down memory lane,getting ready to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of this message board. I found that item from THE PRESS. DATED exactly 2 years ago today. -sorry that guy's name was mentioned but I did not edit when I clipped from THE PRESS ARCHIVE (search term "COMEDY WORLD").

I let the clip "speak for itself" and maybe I should have said THANKS to whoever was responsible for wrecking WFPG-AM TALK RADIO because the next day,this site took off.
