Subject: Humorous NPR Tidbit

One of my husband's colleagues called me yesterday to tell me that the NYT "Puzzlemaster", who does a crossword challenge radio show on NPR, mentioned me by name. The "clue" was the following (from the NPR site)
"This challenge comes from listener Phillip Goodman of Binghamton, New York. Name a famous person, 4 letters in the first name, 6 letters in the last, in which each of the vowels A-E-I-O-U appears once each. Who is this person? (Hint: A and E appear in the first name; I, O and U appear in the last name, although the vowels are not necessarily in alphabetical order.)"
Apparently the host mentioned a few of the guesses, including "mystery writer [my name]" which oddly enough meets all of the criteria. Of course the answer was.....
Bela Lugosi!

I thought that I was listening to NPR last night! (or RADIO-FREE AMERICA?!)...(no SAVAGE or JIMBO)...............RUJANE-that is a very tricky puzzle! I would love to hear that crossword show, but it almost sounds like doing math w/o a pencil & paper-yes challenging!
