There is a chance that a job move would mean a move to the Boston area. Looking for dance school recommendations. We would be coming from the SR region. DD is currently at Novice level. Thanks in advance.

Was reminiscing of the times my dd competed in her early years when we were able to feis almost every weekend, starting with the O'Keefe and Hansen, Keohane feiseanna in April through to O'Shea in June and the fun she had meeting up with friends and enjoying the day together. The rush of registering as soon as the feis opened because they reached their cap (usually at 1,000) in hours. Just looking at the recent registrations and see barely a couple hundred registered. I remember thinking less than 24 dancers was considered a small group. Now many are close to not even having the minimum of 5 in the competitions. Sad to see the competitions dropping but hard to justify the expense of hosting when participation is so low.

I shouldn't have to say this again, but if you post a ton of replies on one thread and sign each one with a different name as if you're lots of different people, your nonsense is getting deleted. If you persist, you will be blocked. Today I'm referencing the wig discussion. All the more obnoxious comments are posted by people from outside the region.

If you're not a member of the New England region, please don't post at all on the wig discussion. Your opinion does not count as this does not affect you! Feel free to comment on nearly any other thread.

To the Cablevision Systems/Optimum Online user in New York: not sure why you felt the need to post 20 (TWENTY!) different responses on this thread with different signatures, but knock it off NOW.

The same goes for you, Comcast user in California. Ten posts in one thread is a little extreme, and this is not your battle.

To the person posting from the Southern Region calling someone else here a Karen: that may go over well on the SR board, I don't know. But it doesn't fly here. We don't name-call. I'll block you for life if I see you do it again.

I ask that you all remember that I have the ability to block anybody who can't play nicely from posting on, or even reading, this board.

Subject: I think you may be right,. There's a lot of cheating in this region, and an insane amount of cheating in CLRG. Almost nothing has been done, either in the region by NEIDT nor in Ireland by the powers that be. Clearly they approve of cheating and plan to continue on as usual. They're hoping we'll all forget.

We live in MA but would travel. DD's sheer sleeves are quite stained from leaning over legs to tie shoes, brand of tanner we used to use gets on everything. Underskirt is also stained - more willing to let that slide/try home remedies than on the sleeves. Any help is much appreciated!

Meatball stains left at feis.
I don't know who thought it was a good idea to bring their messy lunch into the competition room at a feis but all I know is that there was a pile of meatball sauce right where I placed down my daughters dress!! Outrageous!
