The individual schools normally rent their own private practice rooms if they wish to have one. Our school collects $5 or $10 from each dancer attending the O to cover the cost of having our own practice room. Also some of the smaller schools do arrange to a share a practice room. Perhaps your TC could team up with another small school. Subject: Re: 3 first rule post below. Can someone please clarify? I thought that if a child got two firsts in a year in PC then they were required to move on 1/1. Can the people who are "holding back" do this because the firsts were not achieved in one year? Also, what about the 17 /10 first thing. Does that mean that they got all of those firsts in one calendar year?

I have two very attractive dresses for dancer I would say 14+. They are in great condition (thank god my mom was a neat freak!) and they are very good quality workmanship. I have had trouble selling them because they are for a slightly broader dancer. If anyone is interested in seeing photos please email me at sleiner_5372@ric.edu. I am away at school and funds are low willing to negotiate to a very reasonable price!

It must count for I have gotten comments regarding length of dress and appearance onstage ..example neat appearance , good walk on ect (NT) -- NE mum, 18:51:54 11/04/09 Wed There are no "percentages" allocated to any aspect of a dancer's performance. That being said, appearance is taken into consideration. Some judges are bothered more by it than others. In the grades, just look nice, put-together and confident, in championships, you really need to have "the look", otherwise, it seems to count against you because subconciously, judges do make pre-judgements based on that. (NT) -- heard it all, 19:03:02 11/04/09 Wed When you say the look... Do you mean the fake tan, split curl wig, excessive makeup, and a brand new Gavin? Some do it by making themselves so plastic, that the judge can't help but look because they look so ridiculous, and some do it with their pure elegance. Subject: Thank you to the Lenihan volunteers who made announcements and helped look for my daughter's lost cell phone. It was not lost after all. A friend had mistakenly picked it up and taken it home thinking it was theirs. We've since recovered it.
